We made it to Make It Vancouver 2012!

Did I blab about this yet? No? Well, hubby and I have this little letterpress shop called District Dogs Designs operating out of our garage in North Vancouver! The entire summer we participated at local events and attended farmers’ markets and have made friends with people who sell our work at select gift stores in the Lower Mainland. After a nail-biting wait – we have been accepted at Make It Vancouver this year! YIPPEE! We are officially “makies”!

Make It Vancouver is the brain-child of siblings Jenna and Chandler Herbut. This dynamic duo’s goal is to create opportunities for local artists, crafters, designers & musicians. They encourage Canadians (and visitors) to buy local and support their communities – this is the drive behind the Handmade Revolution!

We would like to encourage our family and friends to please, consider buying local this holiday season! If you print this flyer below and show it at the doors at Make It – you will get a dollar off of the entrance fee! Remember, pay once and shop 4 days!

Thank you! We had a blast and we did better than what we anticipated! Our work was well received and we had a lot of compliments! All of these just makes us love what we do even more! I will at one point try to post our experiences here…
